3D Product Configurators
A configurator puts your product rules on your website. A customer or salesperson picks a size and options, the 3D model or scaled drawing updates, and the price follows. When a choice isn’t allowed, the configurator says why.
What a configurator does
- A 3D model or scaled drawing that redraws with every choice
- Live pricing from your price list, including volume discounts
- Rules that explain themselves when an option is refused or changed
- Quote requests sent to your inbox with the customer’s details and the full specification
- Schedules, cut lists or parts lists that download as CSV
- Your branding, on your own website, on desktop, tablet or phone

- Truck bodies: a 3D service or crane truck laid out compartment by compartment

With or without DriveWorks
A configurator can run on its own rules for pricing and quote requests. Or it can be built with DriveWorks, so each order also produces SOLIDWORKS models and drawings. We’ll recommend which fits in discovery.
How it’s delivered
We host and maintain your configurator, so there’s nothing for your team to install or run. You pay a one-time setup fee for the build, then a monthly plan that covers hosting, updates, backups and support, including small updates to options, rules and prices each month.
